Me

I live in Fife, Scotland with my partner and two dogs. My hobbies include going on long walks, camping, sewing, running TTRP games for my friends and reading. I work at my day job as an open-source GIS consultant. I work a lot with QGIS, PostgreSQL/PostGIS and Geoserver. I enjoy teaching non-GIS nerds how to use open-source software.

This site

I started this page as an escape from social media. Somewhere to get away from AI slop and spending my time doomscrolling. I wanted a place where I can share whatever is on my mind, GIS tutorials, interesting datasets and other resources I find useful. I also missed tinkering with HTML and CSS. This site is self-hosted on a Raspberry Pi 5 running Raspberry Pi Lite OS and Caddy.
